Hunedoara-based Talc Dolomita, a division of the Tender group that specialises in the extraction of mineral ores, will enter the German market this year, as part of a programme targeting an increase in exports. "Two years after our privatisation, domestic sales and exports hold a similar share, and we intend to boost our exports. At present, we sell exclusively to France, Denmark and Austria, but we are in negotiations to penetrate the German market and other European countries," says Victor Leu, the manager of Talc Dolomita. Company representatives could not, however, provide a specific estimate for export increases. The Hunedoara-based company posted a 1.2 million-RON (approximately 380,000-euro) profit last year and plans to achieve a slight increase this year. "We have a strategy that extends over several years including the modernisation of our plant. This year, we will also invest in equipment and in retooling, depending on the sums available," added Victor Leu.
