HTI Valori Mobiliare Bucharest (HTI Securities) ranked first among brokers on the RASDAQ last month in terms of trading totalling 9.1 million euros, representing a 15.3% market share. The number one spot comes largely thanks to operations the company handled for the investor Robert Ferran, who sold most of his shares in Bucharest drug maker Biofarm. Ferran reduced his interest in Biofarm from over 32% to 10%. One of the major buyers in Biofarm was securities firm SSIF Broker, which is based in Cluj-Napoca. Broker came second in terms of trading on the RASDAQ with 12.3% market share. The value of transactions brokered by the company in February was 7.3 million euros. HTI and Broker retain the same positions in this year's broker ranking, with their market shares at 12% and 11.5% respectively. ZF
