Musat & Asociatii (Musat & Partners), one of the biggest law firms in Romania, has announced its entry onto the market of reorganisation and liquidation of insolvent companies, a segment that is considered to witness rapid growth in the forthcoming period. The market of insolvency specialists, put at some 18 million euros a year, is currently dominated by players like Moore Stephens RVA and PricewaterhouseCoopers Management. Musat & Asociatii law firm is thus starting an aggressive expansion strategy of its consultancy services by launching its own insolvency firm. Gheorghe Musat, the founder of the law firm, has joined forces with Roberto Mitruta and Radu Lotrean, who run insolvency firms Lichidator Grup based in Iasi and Euroconsult based in Cluj, to tap into the new business through insolvency firm Musat & Asociatii.
