Plimob, a maker of chairs and small furniture for Swedish group Ikea, has achieved a 35% growth in turnover compared with 2003, from 10.8 to 14.6 million euros. It expects this year''s turnover to reach 15.7 million euros. "This means 7.5% more than in 2004, with the growth being based on increased physical production thanks to investments in high-productivity equipment," Vasile Godja, Plimob general manager, told ZF Transilvania. "Our investments last year focused on the purchase of technical installations and machinery. This year we will invest over one million euros in developing production facilities," Godja said. ZF
