The Megapress group, the third biggest player on the printing market, posted an approximately 15% turnover growth in the first six months of the year against last year, to 31.1 million RON (8.8 million euros). The net profit of the group, which includes Megapress Holdings, the printing house and publishing house Aramis, the cultural and pedagogical info weekly Tribuna Invatamantului (Education Tribune) and Minerva SA, stood in the same period at 105,000 euros. The group invested almost 4 million euros this year, 650,000 of which in a production facility and a warehouse, which is still under construction, and the rest in modernising and renewing production equipment such as printing machines and inserting machines. Leaders in terms of business posted were Megapress Holdings and Aramis Print, with turnover worth 6.7 million euros and 0.5 million euros respectively in the first half of the year, and a net profit worth 60,000 and 17,000 euros respectively.
